Well, Olivia spent the first two days after Ian was home ignoring him. She wouldn't even look at him, which if you know how determined (strong-willed) she is, that is really funny. Then Daddy got home from the mission trip on Thursday night and things got better! Friday morning we went to sign the official placement papers with Daddy, then Ian had his 6 week check-up. By the time we all got home for the day, Olivia was ready for a cuddle with her brother! Aren't they cute?
Ian's check-up went well, but the doctor did order an EKG because she could hear some extra noise in his heart. The EKG confirmed this noise. But his pediatrician and the cardiologist have talked and feel that all of his indicators are that he is very healthy! We are to follow-up with the cardiologist next week just as a precaution. Both doctors feel that it likely an "innocent murmur" and nothing more.
